The coin depicts how to baptize the water from the sea shell, which symbolizes the Christian new life and the symbol of strength, descends on the head of Christ by washing off the original sin. The name of the state “CITTA’ DEL VATICANO” is minted in the top of the coin. The denomination “10” at the left and “EURO” at the right of the coin.
Reverse: the reverse depicts the Pope’s Franciscan coat of arms, around the inscription “FRANCISCVUS PONT. MAX. A. VIMMXVIII”.
